Duncan Canterbury (1938-1955) (amberina, blue, chartreuse, ebony, yellow, milk glass, ruby, shell pink) Canterbury is a simplistic design that was one of the stalwarts of the Duncan line. This lovely elegant pattern was offered in both crystal and colors. It was one of the favorite selections for brides everywhere. One of the reasons for its popularity is the sheer number of pieces made in this line. The design worked well with almost any other crystal or china pattern available on the market.

Duncan / Tiffin Canterbury (1955 - 1965)  Crystal, Crystal Satin, Dawn (twilight),  Desert Red Satin, Desert Red, Citron Green, Copen Blue, Greenbriar, Smoke) Duncan and Miller was sold to Tiffin in 1955. The factory was relocated to Tiffin and was to refered as the Duncan division of Tiffin. Some of Duncan's workers were employed by The Tiffin Glass Company.  Many of Duncan's molds were purchased by Tiffin. The Duncan workers ran the Duncan division of Tiffin until Tiffin was purchased by the Continental Can Corporation in 1967.  In 1969 Interpace Corporation, the makers of Franciscan China bought the company and for the next 14 years they used the factory to make glassware to complement their china patterns. The company ceased to exist in the 1980s. Some Canterbury stemware may have been produced during the Franciscan tenure.
