Item Description: This stunning Annabella powder jar is in Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or mold damage. The wheel cutting is awesome and is well done. She is free of discoloration or blemishes. Absolutely Beautiful!
Description / About: Annabella Powder / Puff Jar : 3 1/2" H. - 4 3/4" W.
"Annabella" - (Amber Satin, Amber Transparent, Pink Transparent, Pink Satin) Although there is no catalog confirmation Annabella was most likely made by The McKee Glass Company. A modified version of this jar which is believed to made by McKee exists in which the head finial has been replaced with a Deco-looking triangular knob. The bottom of the jar is exactly the same. The McKee jar comes in Jadite, Custard, Chalaine Blue, and Seville Yellow. Annabella is the name which has been given to this jar. The female finial head has good detail. Her hair is pulled back into a chignon. Some of the transparent powder jars have wheel cut Art Deco designs on the lid surface. The plain round bottom is made of very heavy glass and has a well for the powder and puff. The jar measures 3.5 " high and 4.75" in diameter. Transparent colors are more common than satin ones.
