US POSTAGE AND INSURANCE ON THIS PRETTY  PIECE IS CALCULATED. PLEASE SEE THE SHIPPING TAB FOR MORE INFORMATION.
Coin Glass Line #1382- (1957-1982) Fostoria's Coin Glass pattern was based on earlier coin patterns produced in the 1880s. The pattern was immediately accepted and sold well. This explains its long production period. While many of the pieces have been reissued by Lancaster Colony, the over all quality is not the same as that of the older Fostoria pieces. The newer blues and greens are different from those of the older pieces, and are easily told apart by collectors. However, the differences between the old and new red and crystal pieces are harder to tell. There is a difference in the color even if it has been reported that there is not. It is hard to tell the old pieces from the new in these colors, but it can be done. If you are going to collect this pattern, in crystal and red --- know your dealer and take the time to compare your older pieces to some known newer ones.  Since Coin is no longer being made it is OK to mix some of the newer coin glass in with your collection but you should not pay as much for these pieces. © Margaret and Kenn Whitmyer
