Marks / Signatures: The basket is marked in the base with a script "F".
Condition: Undamaged Condition without chips, cracks, or mold damage. This piece is in outstanding condition. Beautiful Form. Beautiful Color! This stunning basket is very hard to obtain. The marbling is vivid. A great addition to a Fenton collection.

Ruby Marble (1985) Fenton introduced Ruby Marble sometime in 1985. The color was almost the same as Imperial's Ruby Slag. There were 14 different pieces offered for sale in this beautiful color. The most commonly seen pieces are the animal figures, and even they are hard to find. A Bear Cub, Bunny, Fawn, Butterfly on Stand, Alley Cat Door Stop, and a small Hen on the Nest made up the animal offering. Other pieces included a Thumbprint Epergne, a Regency Cupped Bowl, Regency 6 1/2" Basket, Regency 10" basket, Regency Covered Butter, a Grape and Cable Double Crimped Bowl, Grape and Cable Cuspidor, and a Grape and Cable Tobacco or Cookie Jar. Putting together a collection of the Ruby Marble is challenging because it was only made for limited time, but it is well worth the effort to do so.
Regency Fenton's Regency pattern looks very similar to an early press cut pattern. Fenton used this pattern in the 70s and 80s in some of their color lines.
