The following catalog pages are reprinted from a 1928 Federal catalog. Springtime Green was a new color that Federal introduced in 1928. Patterns produced in this color included Diamond Optic, Hexagon Optic, Pear Optic and Straight Optic.

Sixteen piece luncheon sets in Springtime Green and crystal were available in the 1928 Federal catalog in the Straight Optic and Pear Optic patterns. An example of the Pear Optic pattern is illustrated by the plate and cup and saucer shown to the bottom left. The remainder of the pieces in the photo are Straight Optic.

Pear Optic was introduced by Federal in crystal and Springtime Green in 1928. Both colors appeared in the Butler Brothers 1929 catalog.  The following ad illustrates the wholesale prices of the Butler Brothers offerings:
